Questions
What is a black-page Bible?
A Bible printed with white text on black pages. This edition holds the complete New Testament, Matthew to Revelation; it does not contain the Old Testament.
Which texts can I choose?
Four, each typeset in the same design with the words of Jesus in red: the King James Version (KJV), the World English Bible (WEB), the German Lutherbibel of 1912 and the Danish authorized New Testament of 1907. The German and Danish books have their own headings, contents and verse numbers, and every cover names its text on the back and at the foot of the spine.
Is this the ‘monochrome Bible’?
Yes. The Black Edition is the black-page, white-text New Testament people search for as the monochrome Bible: all 27 books in KJV, WEB, German or Danish, hardcover $80, softcover $60, or eBook (PDF + EPUB) $10.
Is there an NIV or NKJV Black Edition?
Not yet: the editions come in KJV, WEB, German and Danish. We have applied for NIV, ESV, NLT, CSB and NASB licences. Choose one under Text above and press Notify me to get one email when it is ready, or write to contact@premiumblackbible.com. An NKJV edition is not planned.
Is there an eBook?
Yes: choose eBook above, then the text. It is this book as a PDF of the printed pages with the black cover, white text on black pages and the words of Jesus in red, and as an ePub in the same look. Download links arrive right after payment; nothing is shipped.
Hardcover or softcover?
The same pages and the same cover art. The hardcover is a casewrap: rigid boards wrapped in the printed matte cover. The softcover is perfect-bound in a flexible matte card cover, lighter and a little thinner.
What does the cover look like?
Pale artwork on black: a crown of thorns and a cross on the front, a small lamb and the name of the text on the back, and the title, paired rules and a dove on the spine. The pictures above are 3D models made from the print file of the binding and text you choose.
New to the Bible?
Start with a Gospel. Our guide Which Bible should I buy as a new Christian? compares the main translations honestly and explains where a New Testament fits, and how to start reading the Bible has a 30-day plan that begins with John.

The White Edition is the same New Testament in black type on white pages, with a white cover.
Are black pages easier on the eyes?
Some readers, for example people who are sensitive to glare or bright light, find light text on a dark page calmer to read; others, often people with astigmatism, find it blurs. It is a matter of comfort, not a treatment. Why black pages can be easier on the eyes, and who they may not suit.
