The same 52 full-colour pages, 6 × 9 in. In English the hardcover is a glossy casewrap on 80# (about 118 gsm) coated paper, printed by Lulu, and the softcover is perfect-bound on 115 gsm coated paper with a glossy cover, printed by Bookvault. The German and Danish editions are printed by Lulu on 80# coated paper with a matte cover, as a casewrap hardcover or a perfect-bound softcover. The illustrations extend to the page edges in every edition.

The edition is intended for shared reading with children aged 8–12. Notes for grown-ups support discussion of difficult themes. Illustrations are interpretations of the stories.
